RELATION(ES) I VIP Opening
Galerie Melbye-Konan officially inaugurates its new spaces in an 800 square meter villa in Hamburg. With the exhibition RELATION(ES), the gallery presents works by Yannick Ackah, Nathalie David, François Martinache, Stellar Meris, Ngoye, Araks Sahakyan and Karolin Schwab.
The exhibition understands itself as an open fabric of relations in which meaning emerges from difference, contact and displacement. Drawing on Édouard Glissant's concept of "Relation", painting, drawing, object, installation and digital processes enter into changing constellations.
Opening speech at 4:00 pm by Stella Melbye-Konan, Gallery Director.
