Resilience Forum Vol. II: ABSCHALTBAR
Cross out, in your head, every supplier who needs an export licence to ship to you. What is left is less than most people think.
Since April 2025, Beijing decides by licence who gets magnets and rare earths. Since May 2026, Washington's licensing requirement for AI chips also applies to buyers in Singapore or Malaysia as soon as the parent company sits in China. Both switches exist. Both have been flipped before. Your product sits between them.
This is not an argument against China and not one against the USA. Both deliver excellent technology, and without it nothing works. What can be owned comes from one country. What can only be rented comes from the other. Europe buys from both and writes rules. The problem is not the dependency. The problem is that hardly anyone knows their own.
How quickly that turns into a bill is shown by the drone. A device costing a few hundred euros destroys a vehicle worth millions. Whoever intercepts it pays more than whoever built it. The same arithmetic sits in every bill of materials, only slower.
On 1 October we bring it to the surface. Four impulse talks from people who know this arithmetic from practice, from research, security policy, regulatory policy and startup infrastructure, the last of them from Denmark. Then an open panel that settles a question instead of moderating it: buy fast and dependent, or build slowly and self-determined, and who pays the difference.
Afterwards you will know the three places where your product can be switched off from outside: component, computing power, law. And you will know the people who already know where theirs are.
In the room: industry and mid-sized companies, investors, research, public authorities, founding teams. From 6:30 pm flying buffet, the speakers stay.
