Four contributions, four views of the same stretch of road: what can these systems actually do by now, and how much of it can be evidenced, checked and answered for?

**Christoph Mütze** stands at the forward end. He tries new tools before others have heard of them, and works where generative AI meets real-time graphics. Where the tools fall short, he builds his own. From him comes the answer to what actually works right now and what merely looks good.

**Alois Krtil** takes stock of where we stand: on agentic systems, generative AI and automation, and on what is taking shape alongside them in Europe — regulation, new frameworks, sandboxing, security. What already applies, what is still a draft, what to prepare for.

**Dr. Pascal Wichmann** picks up the question that follows immediately: how can you tell at all that a machine wrote, drew or spoke something? And how reliable is that detection when it matters?

**Prof. Dr. Frank Passing** stands at the other end, inside regulated operations. Who checks, who is liable, what has to be auditable. For corporates and mid-sized companies, the point where a pilot becomes an operation, or does not.

In between lies the stretch this afternoon is about: between what is already possible today and what someone has to answer for in the end. Knowing it tells you which project in your own company will hold and which will fail at the first audit.

Seven talk slots, four of them filled. Anyone wanting to speak for 30 minutes takes the time from one of the open slots. The break at 14:45 is the longest at 30 minutes and therefore the natural point for anyone arriving later. The stage programme ends punctually at 19:00.

Compliance meets AI. What changes when autonomous systems enter regulated processes: who checks, who is liable, what has to be auditable. For corporates and mid-sized companies this is the point where a pilot becomes an operation, or does not. With Fairfield & Archer he builds the counterpart: agents that screen, assess and route every regulatory change, from DORA and MiCAR through NIS2 to CSRD and supply chain law. Teaches data and AI in compliance at IU; previously co-founder of intuitive.ai (risk and strategy from unstructured data).

What comes next, from someone who has already tried it. He works where generative AI meets real-time graphics: ComfyUI for image and video, Houdini for procedural 3D scenes, Cables.gl in the browser, Ventuz for stage and broadcast. Where the tools fall short he builds his own, in Python, JavaScript and Rust. His contribution: what among the new things actually holds up, what merely looks good, and what you should have seen before everyone does it.
